Hints

• Pick a subject you can describe in ten words: "a lighthouse at dawn," "the last person in an empty library."
• Use the 5-line prompt template from Challenge 1. Copy it. Fill in each line. Don't skip any.
• Render the same prompt twice and pick the better clip — don't waste credits iterating before you have two samples.
• The write-up is the grade. A rough clip with a sharp write-up beats a pretty clip with no reasoning.

Example write-up opener

I wanted a shot that feels lonely but not sad. I chose a wide shot so the viewer sees the scale of the empty space — a medium shot would have made it about the character, not the world. Golden-hour lighting because a cold palette would've tipped into melancholy; warmth keeps it wistful. The camera is static because any movement would suggest the world is alive; it isn't. The palette is warm amber with heavy desaturation — the warmth is for hope, the desaturation is for time.

Stretch goals

• Render three variants of the same prompt and pick the strongest. Write one paragraph on what varied and what stayed constant.
• Add one sound reference to your write-up: what music or ambient track would play over this shot?
• Deliberately render a "bad" version (one-sentence prompt) and include both — the comparison is often more instructive than the final.
